this used to be my second life. I had a lot of friends there, my places I built and loved to create!!! Just discovered my unique line in clothes design.
Wish this game was still able to play.
Loved the people and the virtual game. Had a ton of laughs and great times. I recently came across some world editor installation files but I keep trying to connect to a server. Hopefully, I can figure out how to make it work offline (local server) with SQL. Shout out to all the die hard fans and friends who knew me as Oswald Kobblepotts or BuffRIguy. Cheers all! -John
I loved Kaneva Virtual world, it was the best. Although I wasn't a techy. or knew the lingo of Computer talk. I just enjoyed what was there on the site. Met a lot of Friends, enjoyed building from the shop supplies, and collecting from the employment building. Meeting friends Rating Zone. Keeping in Touch with Family members. Kaneva was a place to go to just to unwind after a long day at work.
I liked it for a time, but with all the other nonsense and mismanagement, it really ruined its potential and became an epic failure. I had a lot of fun there though, especially when it came to building. But it definitely needed a bit more game play options. Wish I had the environment scenes and the original program. I also would have fixed it up really nice, especially with all the content it had. However, there were other issues which made funding it and such unfeasible and I would have addressed those issues a very long time ago, which the original owner(s) failed to do miserably and far too many security issues that should have been addressed from the start.
If I had the original program and environments with everything intact, I would recreate it and only work on improvements with graphics. To bad they screwed it from the start and chose to trash it and never offered it as a mod option for enthusiasts.
Kaneva has potential,it has regular updates once a week. Most up dates are mjor installs also for new things to be. Advisors on hand to assist in problems that arise on hand from other players or just game problems to just your regular questions that you need answers too. Still has aways to go but yea the future seems very brite for Kaneva indeed. Well worth down loading and checking out! A relief if your an advid player of Real Life & are looking for a lil change in game play.
